Peter Kaplan (CEO) brings a unique set of skills to FPG. He has extensive experience in the Financial Services sector. Mr. Kaplan has won numerous LIMRA International Quality awards and qualified as a Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) including Top of the Table.

Prior to FPG, Mr. Kaplan purchased and served as the CEO of Moores Rowland Financial Solutions - the financial services practice of a large firm of CPA's.

Prior to that he founded and was a director of Catalyst Employee Benefits - an independent group business advisory practice. He also founded and was CEO of Alchemy Financial Solutions - an independent financial advisory firm.
 
He has consulted to Spotlight Interactive, a world leader in software for the financial services industry, since 1994 making significant contributions to the initial releases.

Mr. Kaplan began his Career at The Southern Life Association - one of the largest life Assurers in Southern Africa as a financial advisor. He qualified as one of the top 35 advisors and belonged to its prestigious Professional Consultants Unit. While at Southern Life he was the Chairman of The General Managers Consultants council - a body representing the company sales force. He also served as a regional Health Care Council representative. He was very active in the Life Underwriters Association (LUA) of South Africa (LUASA) serving on the regional council as its Chairman for two years as well as on the executive council.

Mr. Kaplan has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Town and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant.
